Florida State Seminoles -8 O/U: 59.5
The Louisville Cardinals and the Florida State Seminoles will meet up on the college football circuit Saturday.
Louisville sits at 2-1 on the young season so far. The Cardinals fell to Notre Dame 35-17 in their opener but took out Eastern KY 42-0 and Western KY 38-21 in their next two games.
In the victory last weekend, Louisville QB Malik Cunningham posted 119 yards and two scores, and Javian Hawkins led the rush with 93 yards and a score. Chatarius Atwell led the receiving corps with 141 yards and three TDs on four grabs.
Over on the Florida State side, they’re 1-2 this year. The Seminoles took out LA-Monroe in OT 45-44 Week 2 but otherwise fell to Boise State 36-31 and Virginia 31-24.
In the loss to Virginia, Florida State QB James Blackman put up 234 yards and three scores, and Cam Akers logged 78 yards on the ground. Tamorrion Terry had 78 yards on four catches to lead the Seminoles there.
The Cardinals are 4-0 ATS in their last four in September and 9-23 ATS in their last 32 overall. Louisville is 9-23 ATS in their last 32 overall and 2-6 ATS versus a team with a losing record.
Meanwhile, the Seminoles are 1-5-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 3-11-3 ATS in their last 17 conference games. Florida State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four overall and 1-7-2 ATS in their last 10 games in September.
Louisville benefitted from some big passing plays in their win last weekend, and they’ve now scored 80 points across their last two games. Florida State can put up the points as well, but they’re also giving away quite a few on the other side so far. I’m going to go with Louisville in a high-scoring affair here.
