The Hawaii Warriors head to the mainland to take the field with the Fresno Bulldogs at Bulldog Stadium.
The Hawaii Warriors head in to the last game of the season looking for their third consecutive victory and 5th overall. That might not seem like much but you haven't seen this team win five gamea in the last two season's combined. The Warriors survived a strong challenge from visiting UNLV to win 37-35 in week 13 on a 20 yard TD pass from Ikaika Woolsey to Marcus Kemp with no time left. UH clearly won the yardage battle 578-474 with the ability to both run and throw while the Rebels were only able to pass. Joey Iosefa was dominant on the ground with 219 yards on 35 carries with two TD's with Diocemy Saint Juste adding a 52 yards scoring run. Woolsey threw for 229 yards with the afforementioned winning TD with an interception.
The Fresno State Bulldogs can become Bowl eligible with a win over visiting Hawaii on Saturday which would be their third consecutive victory. The Bulldogs are hoping to build on the momentum of a surprisingly easy 40-20 decision at Nevada as touchdown underdog. Both sides of the ball came up big with the defense giving up 353 yards while rcovering three fumbles and intercepting a pass while recording a 4th quarter safety. Fresno was able to do what they wanted with Brian Burrell throwing for 313 yards with four touchdowns and an interception. Josh Quezada led a productive rushing attack with 119 yards on 24 touches with Burrell adding another 56 yards on 14 runs including a one yard scoring plunge.
