The Miami Hurricanes will take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium Saturday in a fun ACC college football battle.

The Hurricanes sit at 5-4 this year, and they’ve beaten Savannah St., Toledo, FIU, UNC and Florida State while falling to LSU, Virginia, Boston College and Duke.

In the Blue Devils game, Miami QB Malik Rosier put up 76 yards passing while Travis Homer led the rush on 133 yards and a TD. Mike Harley was the top receiver for the Hurricanes with 45 yards on two catches.

Over on the GT side, they’re 5-4 overall this season as well. The Jackets have lost to South Florida, Pitt, Clemson and Duke but taken out Alcorn State, Bowling Green, Louisville, Virginia Tech and UNC.

In that Heels game, Georgia Tech QB Tobias Oliver actually had a passing TD with 104 yards on 2-of-2 passing, courtesy of Qua Searcy’s 86-yard scoring catch. Oliver also led the rush with 120 yards and two touchdowns.

The Hurricanes are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 in November and 2-6 ATS in their last eight following an ATS loss. Miami is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 on grass and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games.

Meanwhile, Georgia Tech is 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 following an ATS win. The Jackets are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 on grass and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 after a straight-up win.

Miami has dropped their last three games straight, and they’re just not looking good doing it either. The Hurricanes haven’t been able to score more than 14 points in any of those three.

As for Georgia Tech, they are what they are, and teams are either built to stop that option offense or they’re not. I don’t think Miami can, so I’m going with the Jackets to cover.
