The Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will face off in their rivalry game.
Georgia Tech is coming off of a rough 38-21 loss to the Miami Hurricanes. The Yellow Jackets have had a rough season and are out of bowl contention. Running back Marcus Marshall carried the ball 77 times for 609 yards and 4 touchdowns. Leading the Yellow Jackets is Ricky Jeune who has caught 21 passes for 480 yards and 3 touchdowns. With being out of bowl contention their whole season will come down to beating their rival Georgia.
The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off of a close 23-17 victory over Georgia Southern. Quarterback Greyson Lambert has thrown for 1620 yards and 11 touchdowns with only 2 interceptions. Running back Sony Michel has rushed for over 900 yards and 6 touchdowns ever since replacing Nick Chubb. Leading the Bulldogs in receiving has been Malcolm Mitchell who has caught 50 passes for 710 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Bulldogs will be in a bowl game but will be tested in their rivalry game against Georgia Tech.
Georgia is 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games following a straight up win. The Bulldogs are 1-5 against the spread in their last 6 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Georgia Tech is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 non-conference game. The Yellow Jackets are 1-8 against the spread in their last 9 games overall.
This will be an interesting game because Georgia Tech has nothing to lose and will playing all out. Georgia is the better team here but both teams have been inconsistent all year. You never know in these rivalry games. I think it will be close so il take Georgia Tech and the points.
