The Line: Illinois Fighting Illini +16.5 -- Over/Under:
The Ohio State Buckeyes and Illinois Fighting Illini meet Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The Ohio State Buckeyes look to remain unbeaten by winning their 16th straight road game. J.T. Barrett is completing 66.1 percent of his passes for 472 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Barrett returns after being suspended last week. Michael Thomas and Jalin Marshall have combined for 932 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Curtis Samuel has 17 receptions. The Ohio State Buckeyes ground game is averaging 240.5 yards per contest, and Ezekiel Elliott leads the way with 1,244 yards and 14 touchdowns. Defensively, OSU is allowing 15 points and 302.6 yards per game. Raekwon McMillan leads the Buckeyes with 83 tackles, Tyvis Powell has two interceptions and Tyquan Lewis has 5.5 sacks. Braxton Miller, Johnnie Dixon and Parris Campbell are questionable.
The Illinois Fighting Illini could use a big win to become bowl eligible for a second straight season. Wes Lunt is completing 55.8 percent of his passes for 2,000 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. Lunt has three touchdown passes in his last three games. Geronimo Allison and Desmond Cain have combined for 1,052 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Malik Turner has 20 receptions. The Illinois Fighting Illini ground game is averaging 144.3 yards per contest, and Ke'Shawn Vaughn leads the way with 665 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Illinois is allowing 21.7 points and 341.9 yards per game. Clayton Fejedelem leads the Fighting Illini with 100 tackles, Taylor Barton has four interceptions and Dawuane Smoot has six sacks. Caleb Reams, Jamal Milan and Brandon Roberts are questionable.
The Buckeyes are 38-16-1 ATS in their last 55 road games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Fighting Illini are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 conference games and 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS win. The Buckeyes are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings.
Ohio State is ready to go now that Barrett is the full-time starter, and it's not like Illinois has any great wins this season with losses in three of its last four games. I like the Buckeyes in a blowout.
