CFB | Indiana Hoosiers (3-1) at Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0)

Thee Ohio State Buckeyes look to remain perfect when the Indiana Hoosiers come to town.

The Indiana Hoosiers are a team that I don’t know where they fit in the Big Ten. Perhaps we find out soon with a visit to Ohio State but things don’t look too bad right now with a 3-1 record after a 24-21, overtime win versus Michigan State. Both teams finished with around 440 yards but the Hoosiers rallied from a 14-0 deficit at the half as their defense and offense suddenly came together. Devine Redding gave IU some punch on the ground with 100 yards on 19 carries and the passing of Richard Lagow did the rest. Lagow gave Indiana 276 yards through the air with a pair of touchdowns and an interception on 16-26 with Ricky Jones grabbing five passes for 124 yards and a score.

I know there is a lot of season left but the Ohio State Buckeyes are already looking fearsome with a 4-0 record with dominant play on both sides of the ball. The Buckeyes come off a lopsided 58-0 rout of visiting Rutgers where they started slow before amassing 669 yards while limiting the Scarlet Knights to 116 yards and 21 minutes of possession. OSU quarterback JT Barrett went 21-29 for 238 yards and four touchdowns with a pick with Curtis Samuel hauling in seven throws for 86 yards and a score to lead eleven other receivers. The Buckeyes racked up 410 rushing yards with Mike Weber leading the pack with 144 yards and a TD on 14 carries while Demario McCall added 85 yards and a touchdown on ten totes.

Indiana are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games and the over is 4-1 in Indian’s last 5 road games while Indiana are 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Ohio State are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf and Ohio State are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall while Ohio State  are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games. Indiana are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the underdog is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

I like the over because Ohio State will get their share and hopefully Indiana helps out and doesn’t get shut down…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
