The Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Kansas State Wildcats will meet up on the college football circuit on Saturday from Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

OK State enters this game at 4-2 overall. The Cowboys beat up Missouri State, South Alabama and Boise State to open up the year, then took out Kansas in between two losses to Texas Tech and Iowa State.

In the Iowa State game, Oklahoma State QB Taylor Cornelius logged 289 yards with four TDs and a pick, and Justice Hill led the rush on 66 yards and a TD. Leading the Cowboys receivers was Tylan Wallace with 82 yards and a TD from five grabs.

Over on the Kansas State side, they’re 2-4 on the season right now. The Wildcats beat South Dakota and UTSA in the first three games but otherwise have lost to MS State, West Virginia, texans and Baylor.

In the Bears game, Kansas State QB Skylar Thompson put up 149 yards and a TD with two INTs, but Alex Barnes had a great day on the ground with 250 yards and three scores. Isaiah Zuber led the KSU receivers on 56 yards from seven grabs.

The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following an ATS loss. OK State is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in October and 5-2 ATS in their last seven following a straight-up loss.

Meanwhile, Kansas State is 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 in October and 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a straight-up loss. The Wildcats are 1-5 ATS in their last six following an ATS win and the under is 5-1 in their last six home games.

It’s tough to know what to make of Oklahoma State from week to week, but following two unexpected losses in three games, much of the luster is wearing off the team. Over their last three weeks, OK State has given up a combined 117 points.

As for Kansas State, they really couldn’t get much going through the air against Baylor and allowed 20 points in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats’ 34 points did break a pretty limp offensive trend over the previous couple of games, though.

All things considered, I like OK State here as a balanced offense that can bang out a cover.

Oklahoma State Cowboys -7.5
