CFB | Ohio Bobcats (0-1) at Kansas Jayhawks (1-0)

The Ohio Bobcats and Kansas Jayhawks meet early Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

The Ohio Bobcats look for a bounce back victory after losing opening week by Texas State. Greg Windham is completing 60 percent of his passes for 380 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Rush has five touchdown passes in his last three games. Papi White and Jordan Reid have combined for more than 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Maleek Irons has five receptions. The Ohio Bobcats ground game is averaging 250 yards per contest, and Dorian Brown leads the way with 77 yards on 18 carries. Defensively, Ohio is allowing 56 points and 546 yards per game. Toran Davis leads the Bobcats with 17 tackles, Tony Porter has two sacks and Kylan Nelson has two interceptions.

The Kansas Jayhawks look for a quick 2-0 start after crushing the Rhode Island Rams opening week. Montell Cozart is completing 72 percent of his passes for 199 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Cozart has four touchdown passes in his last three games. Steven Sims Jr. and LaQuvionte Gonzalez have combined for 202 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Tyler Patrick has five receptions. The Kansas Jayhawks ground game is averaging 177 yards per contest, and Ke'aun Kinner leads the way with 69 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Kansas is allowing six points and 219 yards per game. Daniel Wise leads the Jayhawks with five tackles, Courtney Arnick has one sack and Bazie Bates IV has one interception.

The Bobcats are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Jayhawks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall.

Ohio showed no signs of defense against Texas State and now has to go on the road to play a confident Kansas club that just waxed Rhode Island. Say what you will, but this is a Kansas team that didn't win a game since November of 2014, so the Jayhawks are feeling good. Kansas now has a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time since September of 2011.

I think it happens.
