The Florida International Panthers and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs meet Friday in college football action at Joe Aillet Stadium.

The Florida International Panthers look for a road win to get back to a .500 record. The Florida International Panthers have won four of their last six road games. James Morgan is completing 48.9 percent of his passes for 233 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Morgan has one touchdown pass in his last three games. Austin Maloney and Sterling Palmer have combined for 180 receiving yards on 10 catches while Maurice Alexander has nine receptions. The Florida International Panthers ground game is averaging 173.3 yards per contest, and Kaylan Wiggins leads the way with 212 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, FIU is allowing 26.3 points and 418 yards per game. Sage Lewis leads the Florida International Panthers with 22 tackles, Kevin Oliver has one sack and Rishard Dames has one interception.

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs look for a third straight win to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have won four of their last six home games. J’Mar Smith is completing 68.6 percent of his passes for 818 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Smith has at least one touchdown pass in 12 of his last 15 games. Adrian Hardy and Cee Jay Powell have combined for 309 receiving yards on 25 catches while Griffin Hebert has 10 receptions. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs ground game is averaging 124 yards per contest, and Justin Henderson leads the way with 136 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Louisiana Tech is allowing 22 points and 399.7 yards per game. James Jackson leads the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs with 25 tackles, Connor Taylor has one sack and Amik Robertson has one interception.

The Golden Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in September, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf. The under is 8-1 in Bulldogs last 9 games overall. The over is 7-2 in Golden Panthers last 9 games overall.

The Florida International Panthers are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games as a double-digit underdog. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have failed to cover five of their last eight games as a double-digit favorite. FIU was supposed to be really good this season and those expectations have obviously quieted a little bit given the struggles, but the talent is still on this roster and there's a decent chance James Morgan returns at quarterback after missing last week. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have had their moments this season and have talent at the skill positions, but I'm not ready to just throw out double-digit chalk. Assuming Morgan is good to go at QB, I'll take the points with the FIU Panthers.

Pick:
Florida International Panthers +10
