The Jacksonville State Gamecocks and LSU Tigers clash Saturday night at Tiger Stadium on ESPNU.

The Jacksonville State Gamecocks look to pull off an upset after beating North Alabama on opening week. Eli Jenkins is completing 58.8 percent of his passes for 230 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. Jenkins must make plays in the air in order for JSU to have a chance. Roc Thomas and Anthony Johnson have combined for 82 receiving yards on eight catches while Krenwick Sanders has three receptions. The Jacksonville State Gamecocks ground game is averaging 272 yards per contest, and Jenkins leads the way with 101 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Jacksonville State is allowing 12 points and 222 yards per game. Quan Stoudemire leads the Gamecocks with seven tackles, Joel McCandless has one sack and Jaylen Hill has two pass deflections.

The LSU Tigers hope to bounce back from a tough upset loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. Brandon Harris is completing 57.1 percent of his passes for 131 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Harris has two touchdown passes in his last two games. Travin Dural and Leonard Fournette have combined for 88 receiving yards and one touchdown while Malachi Dupre has three receptions. The LSU Tigers ground game is averaging 126 yards per contest, and Fournette leads the way with 138 yards on 23 carries. Defensively, LSU is allowing 16 points and 339 yards per game. Davon Godchaux leads the Tigers with nine tackles, Arden Key has two sacks and Tre'Davious White has one interception.

Jacksonville State didn't have much of a chance against LSU to begin with, and those chances decreased when the Tigers lost a game they probably should have won. LSU is going to be a pissed off football team eager to take its frustration out on something. The Gamecocks just happen to be the team in its way.

I expect LSU to be better defensively and for Fournette to look more like the Heisman candidate he's supposed to be. Tigers roll big.
