The Miami (OH) Redhawks and the Central Michigan Chippewas meet in the Marathon MAC Championship Game.  The Redhawks are (7-5), after falling 41-27 to Ball State.  The Chippewas are (8-4), coming off a 49-7 win over Toledo.

In the Redhawks loss to Ball State, Miami (OH) was guided on offense by quarterback Brett Gabbert.  Gabbert completed 6 of his attempts for 116 yds and a touchdown.  Jaylon Bester added 59 yds rushing on 15 carries and a touchdown.  The Redhawks took a 27-14 lead into the locker room, but gave up 27 straight unanswered points to Ball State.  The Redhawks were out gained 578 to 275.  The Redhawks blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown in the loss.

In the Chippewas win over Toledo, Central Michigan was led offensively by running back Kobe Lewis.  Lewis rushed for 131 yds on 22 carries, and 2 touchdowns.  The Chippewas backfield as a whole, rushed for 289 yds and 5 touchdowns.  Quarterback Quinten Dormady completed 15 of 19 passes for 250 yds and 2 scores.  Central Michigan out gained Toledo, 552 to 256.  Central Michigan allowed Toledo to rush for just 83 yds.
