USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado State Rams and Minnesota Golden Gophers meet early Saturday afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium on ESPNU.

The Colorado State Rams look to build on back-to-back victories when they take the road for the first time. Collin Hill is completing 69.7 percent of his passes for 341 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Hill enters this game with 33 pass attempts under his belt. Michael Gallup and Xavier Williams have combined for 217 receiving yards and one touchdown while Elroy Masters, Jr. has five receptions. The Colorado State Rams ground game is averaging 209 yards per contest, and Dalyn Dawkins leads the way with 156 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Colorado State is allowing 26.3 points and 408 yards per game. Kevin Davis leads the Rams with 32 tackles, Jakob Buys has 2.5 sacks and Braylin Scott has two interceptions.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers hope to remain undefeated and are fresh off a bye week. Mitch Leidner is completing 58.9 percent of his passes for 425 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Leidner has at least one touchdown pass in nine of his last 10 games. Drew Wolitarsky and Brian Smith have combined for 239 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Nate Wozniak has four receptions. The Minnesota Golden Gophers ground game is averaging 221 yards per contest, and Rodney Smith leads the way with 199 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Minnesota is allowing 25.5 points and 336.5 yards per game. Jack Lynn leads the Golden Gophers with 16 tackles, Tai'yon Devers has two sacks and KiAnte Hardin has two pass deflections.

The Rams are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 non-conference games. The Golden Gophers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in September.

Last year's meeting needed an overtime field goal to be decided. And while Minnesota is the better team overall and has had an extra week to prepare, the Golden Gophers still haven't played much in their first two games and struggled at home against Oregon State despite being huge favorites. I don't see why such the heavy odds, especially with the Rams playing well heading into this contest. Minensota still struggles offensively.

Give me the road team and the boatload of points.

Pick:
Colorado State Rams +16
