Lunt has three touchdown passes in his last four games. Geronimo Allison and Desmond Cain have combined for 1,192 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Malik Turner has 25 receptions. The Illinois Fighting Illini ground game is averaging 131.9 yards per contest, and Ke'Shawn Vaughn leads the way with 661 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Illinois is allowing 22.3 points and 351.7 yards per game. Clayton Fejedelem leads the Fighting Illini with 115 tackles, Taylor Barton has four interceptions and Dawuane Smoot has seven sacks. Brandon Roberts, Henry Enyenihi and Sean Adesanya are questionable.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers ground game is averaging 140.7 yards per contest, and Rodney Smith leads the way with 550 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Minnesota is allowing 25.9 points and 347.9 yards per game. Antonio Johnson leads the Golden Gophers with 78 tackles, Jalen Myrick has three interceptions and Steven Richardson has 3.5 sacks. Isaiah Gentry, Jeff Jones and Rodney Smith are questionable.
