Week eleven college football brings us to the SEC where the Missouri Tigers host the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The Vanderbilt Commodores are eying consecutive victories after downing Arkansas 45-31 heading in to their bye week. Both squads finished with around 445 yards with Vanderbilt playing mistake free football while forcing two turnovers.
Commodores quarterback Kyle Shurmur completed 13-19 for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns while rushing for a loss of 22 yards on four totes.
Ke’Shawn Vaughn led an explosive Vandy rushing attack with 172 yards on 26 carries with three touchdowns with Khari Blasingame adding another 46 yards on ten tries and a score with another 44 yards on four catches. Jared Pinkney was the Commodores top receiving threat with five catches for 93 yards and a pair of TD’s.
The Missouri Tigers stayed in the Bowl hunt with a complete 38-17 victory at Florida on Saturday. Missouri won the battle of real estate 471-323 with the ability to run or throw.
The Tigers were efficient through the air with quarterback Drew Lock hitting 24-32 for 250 yards and three touchdowns while running five times for 19 yards.
Damarea Crockett topped the Missouri ground game with 21 carries for 114 yards and a TD followed by Larry Roundtree III with another 72 rushing yards on 14 totes. Emanuel Hall was the top Tigers receiving with 77 yards and a TD on four catches while Albert Okwuegbunam hauled in a 41 yard scoring strike.
