The Weber State Wildcats and the Nevada Wolf Pack will meet up on the college football field Saturday.
Weber State enters this one at 1-1 overall. The Wildcats fell 6-0 to San Diego State in the opener but took a 41-24 win over Cal Poly in Week 2.
In the win over the Mustangs, Weber State QB Jake Constantine logged 137 yards and one TD, and Josh Davis had 129 yards rushing with two scores. Devon Cooley led the Wildcats receivers with 52 yards from five catches.
Over on the Nevada side, they’re 1-1 also, taking a 34-31 win over Purdue in Week 1 and then getting drilled 77-6 by Oregon.
In the loss to the Ducks, Nevada QB Carson Strong logged 89 pass yards and two picks, and Jaxson Kincaide led the rushing attack for the Wolf Pack on 52 yards from 13 carries.
The under is 4-1 in the Wildcats’ last five games after posting less than 170 pass yards and 4-1 in their last five after posting less than 100 rush yards. The under is also 4-1 in Weber State’s last five after giving up less than 100 rush yards.
Meanwhile, the Wolf Pack are 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss and 5-0 ATS in their last five home games. Nevada is 5-0 ATS in their last five after giving up more than 200 yards rushing.
Weber State couldn’t get anything going at all against SDSU but came back strong in the second game with a big rushing attack.
As for Nevada we can’t judge much from that blowout by Oregon and they should play fairly well offensively here. I’m going to go with the Wolf Pack in this one.
