The Hawaii Warriors head to the mainland to face the Nevada Wolf Pack at MacKay Stadium.
The Hawaii Warriors have had scoring problems the past several seasons and that is once again an issue in 2015. The Warriors did some scoring in week seven but not enough in a 28-27 loss at New Mexico with the Lobos stealing the win in the final minute. UH squeezed out a 415-392 yardage edge and gave up a 100 yard kick return. The Warriors received 195 yards passing from Ikaika Woolsey on 13-25 with a touchdown and a pair of interceptions with Dylan Collie hauling in seven catches for 113 yards and a score. The UH rushing attack received a boost from Paul Harris with his 125 yards and two TD’s on 24 carries.
The Nevada Wolf Pack seemed to have an advantage against Wyoming who suffered some key injuries but it didn’t pan out that way in a 28-21 defeat. The Cowboys managed 485 yards and gave up 405 yards with the Pokes balance winning out. Quarterback Tyler Stewart was the best offensive player Nevada had with 287 yards through the air with a pair of touchdowns on 25-41. Hasaan Henderson was the receiver of choice for the Wolf Pack with eight receptions for 112 yards while Jerico Richardson caught six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. James Butler and Don Jackson ran for a combined for 95 yards on 21 carries but the Wolf Pack didn’t run often.
The Rainbow Warriors are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game while the under is 6-1 in Rainbow Warriors last 7 games on fieldturf. The under is 4-0 in Wolf Pack last 4 games in October and the Wolf Pack are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss while the under is 7-1 in Wolf Pack last 8 vs. a team with a losing record. The Rainbow Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Nevada and the under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Nevada. Leaning Nevada but at less then a touchdown…
