The UNLV Rebels travel to Mackay Stadium to take on the red-hot Nevada Wolfpack. The two teams will battle it out for the Fremont Cannon. The Wolfpack come in on a 3-game winning streak and last week went to Fresno State and won the game on the road 35-28 to improve to 7-4 on the season.

Nevada’s offense, specifically their run game was clicking on all cylinders totaling 254 yards on the ground with 7.5 yards per carry. The rushing attack was led by sophomore Toa Taua who ran for 135 yards and found the endzone late in the fourth quarter to ice the game.

The UNLV Rebels were finally able to snap a 4-game losing streak their last time out, beating San Jose State 38-35 to improve to 3-8 on the season. UNLV running back Charles Williams was a man on a mission, gaining 186 yards on the ground and scoring three touchdowns including the game winner. Williams added to his already impressive season, now over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging nearly 6 yards a carry.

UNLV has struggled on defense all season, allowing nearly 200 yards on the ground per game and forfeiting 33.27 points this season which ranks 109th in the nation. Nevada will look to build on their solid performance on the ground last week and continue right where the left off in an emotional rivalry game.

Nevada is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games played in the month of November. UNLV has struggled recently against Mountain West posting a 2-5 ATS record in their last 7. Nevada will see success in running the ball just as they did last week and grind out a 31-21 victory over their instate rival. Final Score Prediction, Nevada Wolfpack win and cover 31-20.

Ben’s Pick Nevada Wolf Pack -7.5
