Southern Mississippi once again has a tremendous passing game as their passing offense ranks 14th in College Football, but what has been more impressive is their defense that was impressive agianst a good Auburn team and currently ranks 23rd in scoring defense. North Texas has a great QB and started off the season on a tear, however, it’s been ugly last two weeks as after losing to Louisiana Tech at home, the Mean Green almost were upset by one of the worst teams in College Football in the UTEP Miners last week. I think North Texas is a good team and certainly a tough team to beat at home, but as I think Southern Mississippi with have some success with their passing attack and that their defense will keep this one close, I’m taking the Golden Eagles and the points in this one.
