CFB | Michigan Wolverines (5-6) at Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1)

The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes play The Game Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

The Michigan Wolverines have split their last four games and need this win in order to clinch a bowl. Michigan is led by its defense that’s allowing 20.6 points, 301.8 yards, and has forced 29 sacks and 10 turnovers. The Michigan Wolverines have won 11 of their last 18 games when allowing 30 or less points. Jake Ryan leads Michigan with 104 tackles and Brennen Beyer has 7.5 tackles for loss. Offensively, Devin Gardner is completing 60.6 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Gardner has one touchdown and three picks in his last two games, and Michigan has 12 passing plays of 25 or more yards. Devin Funchess and Amara Darboh have combined for more than 1,000 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Jake Butt has seven receptions in his last two games. Michigan’s ground game is averaging 4.7 yards per carry and De'Veon Smith leads the way with 515 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have won nine straight and hope to remain in the playoff convo. J.T. Barrett is completing 64.8 percent of his passes for 33 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Barrett has eight total touchdowns and three picks in his last two games, and Ohio State has 29 passing plays of 25 or more yards. Devin Smith and Michael Thomas have combined for more than 1,200 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns while Jeff Heuerman is coming off a five-catch performance. Ohio State’s ground game is averaging 5.6 yards per carry, as Ezekiel Elliott leads the way with 1,061 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Defensively, the Ohio State Buckeyes are allowing 22.5 points, 330.4 yards, and they’ve forced 32 sacks and 23 turnovers. Joshua Perry leads OSU with 99 tackles and Joey Bosa has 18 tackles for loss.

The Wolverines are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Buckeyes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games in November. The Wolverines are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings in Ohio State and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings overall.

While I would love for this rivalry to produce another classic matchup, it's just hard to see it. Ohio State is scoring at will and Michigan is just lousy offensively and appears to have packed in it along with head coach Brady Hoke. Give me OSU in a blowout.
