CFB | Pittsburgh Panthers (2-0) at Oklahoma State Cowboys (1-1)

The Pittsburgh Panthers and Oklahoma State Cowboys play Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium on ESPN.

The Pittsburgh Panthers look for a statement road win after a strong 2-0 start to the season. Nathan Peterman is completing 63.8 percent of his passes for 266 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Peterman has six touchdown passes in his last three games. Scott Orndoff and Quadree Henderson have combined for 165 receiving yards and two touchdowns while James Conner has seven receptions. The Pittsburgh Panthers ground game is averaging 213.5 yards per contest, and Conner leads the way with 170 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Pittsburgh is allowing 23 points and 289 yards per game. Ryan Lewis leads the Panthers with 14 tackles, Ejuan Price has 2.5 sacks and Terrish Webb has one interception.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys look to get that bizarre loss to Central Michigan out of their mind. Mason Rudolph is completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 477 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. Rudolph has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last eight games. Jalen McCleskey and James Washington have combined for 233 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Jhajuan Seales has six receptions. The Oklahoma State Cowboys ground game is averaging 101 yards per contest, and Justice Hill leads the way with 61 yards on 12 carries. Defensively, Oklahoma State is allowing 18.5 points and 310.5 yards per game. Jordan Burton leads the Cowboys with 13 tackles, Jarrell Owens has two sacks and Ramon Richards has one interception.

The Panthers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Cowboys are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

The Pittsburgh Panthers are no pushover, as they have probably the best offensive line in the ACC and are big in the trenches defensively as well. However, Oklahoma State has consistent firepower offensively and will be a fired up team with the way things ended last week. I'm not sure Pittsburgh can keep up with its running style if it gets down early.

Oklahoma State is too consistent offensively and the line just under a touchdown makes this a good play.

Oklahoma State Cowboys -6.5
