The Eagles are 6-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and the over is 4-0 in Eagles last 4 games on grass. The Monarchs are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win and the over is 4-0 in Monarchs last 4 vs. a team with a winning record.
Eastern Michigan has struggled defensively all season and that's not going to fly going up against an ODU squad that can pour it on offensively. The Monarchs are a well balanced football team that's won five straight and will be eager to prove itself to the rest of the college football world in just their third FBS season. Outcomes of bowl games a lot of the times have to do with motivation and you're not going to find a team hungrier than Old Dominion given this breakthough chance. The Eastern Michigan Eagles aren't good enough defensively to keep up in this contest. I'll take ODU and the small line.
