The Line: Oregon State Beavers -31 -- Over/Under: 60.5
The Idaho State Bengals and Oregon State Beavers clash Saturday afternoon at Reser Stadium.
The Idaho State Bengals could use a strong road victory to get a game above a .500 record. Tanner Gueller is completing 59.2 percent of his passes for 397 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Gueller has to be the difference maker for the Bengals in this contest. Josh Cook and Hagen Graves have combined for 161 receiving yards on 20 catches while KW Williams has seven receptions. The Idaho State Bengals ground game is averaging 100 yards per contest, and Jakori Ford leads the way with 77 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Idaho State is allowing 29.5 points and 415 yards per game. Joe Martin leads the Bengals with 18 tackles, Tate Razor has 1.5 sacks and Ryan Shields has one interception.
The Oregon State Beavers look for a bounce back performance after losing to Minnesota opening week. Darell Garretson is completing 62.5 percent of his passes for 228 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Garretson has 11 touchdown passes on his last 175 pass attempts. Ryan Nall and Seth Collins have combined for 137 receiving yards on 13 catches while Victor Bolden Jr. has five receptions. The Oregon State Beavers ground game is averaging 89 yards per contest, and Nall leads the way with 71 yards on 13 carries. Defensively, Oregon State is allowing 30 points and 280 yards per game. Xavier Crawford leads the Beavers with eight tackles, Devin Chappell has one tackle for loss and Manase Hungalu has one pass deflection.
Idaho State was just destroyed by Colorado and has now lost six of its last seven games. In fact, the Bengals have won just three games since last season and two of those games were just brutal comp. Oregon State put up a fight against Minnesota on the road and has had two weeks to prepare for this contest. I don't love the Beavers roster and think there's a lot of room for improvement, but this is a game they should be able to win easily on extended rest.
Give me OSU in a blowout.
