NC State will look to continue their winning ways as they go on the road to take on South Alabama.

South Alabama improved their record to 2-1 after beating San Diego St 34-27 in overtime. Quarterback Cody Clements was 18/35 for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running back Xavier Johnson had a big day on the ground carrying the all 19 times for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wide Receiver Gerald Everett caught 8 passes for 164 yards and 1 touchdown. South Alabama lost big last time they played a big opponent in Nebraska. Now South Alabama will host North Carolina State.

North Carolina State is 3-0 but has not played any big time opponents yet. NC States last win came against Old Dominion 38-14. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett went 18/27 for 179 yards and 1 touchdown. Running back Matthew Dayes carried the ball 20 times for 108 yards and 1 touchdown. Shadrach Thornton had 18 carries for 92 yards and 1 touchdown. Jaylen Samuels caught 5 passes for 43 yards and 1 touchdown. NC State hasn’t been tested by a real opponent yet and it doesn’t look like this will be the week they do either.

NC State is 4-0 against the spread in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Wolfpack are 4-0 against the spread in their last 4 games following a win. South Alabama is 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 games overall. South Alabama is 0-5 against the spread vs. a team with a winning record.

NC State has looked good so far this season and i expect it to continue agaisnt South Alabama. I think NC State will be able to roll past South Alabama. Take NC State to cover the spread.

Pick:
NC State -16.5

On July 1, 2008 I typed into Google "How Do I start A Blog" and I started my first website called "Miami Mitch's Place" where i shared my college football Picks and predictions as well as opinion. By the Fall I had heard from many that the title made it sound like the site was about Miami so I changed it to "College Football Place" (cfbplace.com), After the 2008 college football season I change focus and launched CBBplace.com, it wasn't long after that when I realized I just wanted one place to add all sports, and that's when Sports Chat Place was born.

This site is a big Thank You to all of our readers, visitors, and community where we have been given a platform to talk to the masses about sports and hopefully help put you on some winners. If you need to reach me just shoot an email to [email protected]
