The Line: South Florida Bulls +9.5 -- Over/Under:
The Central Florida Knights travel to Raymond James Stadium to take the field with the South Florida Bulls.
The Central Florida Bulls have visions of winning the AAC but they need to win their final two games of the season. The Knights have been dominant on both sides of the ball in winning consecutive contests following 53-7 rout of Southern Methodist as a 28 point favorite. This was over quickly with UCF jumping to a 27-0 lead after one quarter. The Mustangs totaled just 116 yards and four first downs and five turnovers while the Knights approached 500 yards and were able to both run and throw. Micah Reed led UCF on the ground with 112 yards on 26 carries with Dontravious Wilson totaling 80 yards with a pair of trips to the endzone. Justin Holman completed 15-22 for 228 with a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions.
The South Florida Bulls have seen their opportunity of reaching the postseason fade away over the last month with defeats in 3-4 to drop to 4-7 with struggles on both sides of the ball to blame. The Bulls fell to Memphis 31-20 in a game where the Tigers held a a 470-396 advantage in yardage. While Memphis was balanced offensively the Bulls had some success on the ground but still depended heavily on the pass. Mike White completed 21-35 for 244 yards with Steven Bench coming on to hit 6-11 for 57 yards with a nine yard touchdown toss to Andre Davis. The difference in this one was the Tigers more then doubled up on South Florida on the ground and were morre explosive.
The over is 4-0 in Knights last 4 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game and is 6-0 in Knights last 6 road games vs. a team with a losing home record while the under is 7-1 in Knights last 8 Friday games. For South Florida the under is 4-0 in Bulls last 4 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game while the Bulls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and the under is 4-0 in Bulls last 4 Friday games. Head to head the Knights are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings. Central Florida has to win to stay in the running for th conference crown and if they play as they have the past two times out I will lay the chalk...
