Week two FCS versus FBS college football pits the Wagner Seahawks against the Syracuse Orange.

The Wagner Seahawks are gunning for a 2-0 start to the 2018 season after routing sub division Bowie State 40-23 in week one. Wagner overcame shaky pass defense that allowed 365 passing yards as the offense unleashed a potent rushing attack. The Seahawks leaned heavily on the run where Ryan Fulse amassed 271 yards on 20 carries with three trips to the end zone. Quarterback Luke Massei completed 8-16 for 134 yards with a touchdown and interception with Denzel White leading the Seahawks with two receptions for 101 yards and a score.

The Syracuse Orange outscore Western Michigan 55-42 in week one action. Syracuse raced to a 34-7 lead at the half and held a 621-560 edge in yardage. Orange quarterback Eric Dungey connected on 7-19 for 184 yards and a par of TD’s.

Dungey carried Syracuse on the ground with 200 yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries while Moe Neal added 82 yards on 28 touches and a pair of trips to the end zone. Jamal Curtis topped Cuse with six catches for 168 yards and a pair of scores.
