The #25 Oklahoma State Cowboys take on the Texas A&M Aggies in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl. The Aggies have lost their last two games, most recently being blown out by #1 LSU losing 50-7 to drop to 7-5 on the year. The Aggies record is misleading as their losses are to #1 LSU, #3 Clemson, #5 Georgia, #10 Auburn and #12 Alabama. Oklahoma State lost their last game against rival #7 Oklahoma 34-16 to drop to 8-4 on the season but had won their 4 games leading into their season finale loss.

Oklahoma State scores 33.4 points per game which ranks 34th in the nation but will be missing starting quarterback Spencer Sanders due to a surgery on his throwing hand. At the helm in his place will be Hawaii transfer Dru Brown who has been successful in his two starts completing 72% of his passes and tossing 5 touchdowns and only one interception. The key for Oklahoma State will be running back Chubba Hubbard who is one of the best backs in the country. Hubbard has nearly 2,000 rushing yards this season and 21 touchdowns.

Texas A&M dual threat quarterback Kellen Mond runs the Texas A&M offense. Mond has thrown for 2800 yards and 19 touchdowns to only 9 interceptions and adds 384 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. Leading the rushing attack for the Aggies is freshman Isiah Spiller who has 869 yards and added 9 touchdowns while averaging 5.6 yards per carry.

Despite the grueling schedule of the Texas A&M Aggies full of the best offenses in the nation, they are allowing 22.7 points per game ranking 37th in the nation. Oklahoma State allows 27 points per game which ranks 63rd in the NCAA.

Texas A&M schedule will have them prepared for Oklahoma State but laying a touchdown on a neutral site against arguably the best running back in the country and an experienced quarterback is too much. Texas A&M wins the game but fails to cover the spread in a back and forth till the end game. Final score prediction, Oklahoma State Cowboys 31 Texas A&M Aggies 27.
