Texas A&M Aggies -38.0 . Total 52.5

Week 10 of the college football season pairs 2 teams together for an in-state non conference matchup.  The UTSA Roadrunners enter this game with a record of (3-4). UTSA is trying to win their 2nd game in a row after beating Rice 31-27 back on October, 19th.  UTSA had a bye this week. The Texas A&M Aggies enter this home contest with a record of (5-3), having won 2 in a row. The Aggies are coming off a 49-30 win over Mississippi State this past Saturday.

UTSA is more of a run first time of offense, with the passing game being secondary.  However, in the game against Rice, quarterback Lowell Narcissee was 19/29 for 212 yds and 1 interception.  The Roadrunners rushed for a total of 149 yds on 30 carries and a touchdown. The Roadrunners were out gained by the Rice Owls 369 to 361.  UTSA forced 4 turnovers in the win.

In the win over Mississippi State, Aggies quarterback Kellen Mond was 17 of 23 for 234 yds and 3 passing touchdowns.  Mond also had 76 yds rushing and added 2 scores on the ground.  Jalen Wydermyer led the Aggies in receiving with 63 yds on 2 receptions and a touchdown.  Mississippi State was able to put up 433 yds of offense on the Aggies.  The Aggies did force 3 turnovers.

Recent Betting Trends:

UTSA is 1-4 ATS as an underdog this season.

UTSA is 3-4 ATS on the season.

The under is 6-3 in UTSA's last 9 games.

Texas A&M is 3-0 ATS in non conference games this season.

Texas A&M is 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games.

The under is 5-3 in Texas A&M games this season.

The Aggies defense ranks 50th in rushing yds allowed per game.  This is a matchup of conference USA and SEC members, while UTSA has been great at running the ball, UTSA has not faced an SEC school.  The biggest school UTSA has faced was Baylor.  UTSA lost that game 63-14.  While this is a big spread, I just don't see how Texas A&M doesn't run away with this game.  Look for the Aggies to key in on the run and force the Roadrunners to throw the ball. When the Roadrunners are forced to throw, look for some mistakes to have been made by the UTSA offense.  Final score prediction, Texas A&M will win and cover 49-10.

Chris’s Pick TXAM -38.0 .
