Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Week four college football gives us the Nevada Wolf Pack traveling to the Toledo Rockets.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are shooting for consecutive victories after outscoring visiting Oregon State 37-35 as a four point favorite on Saturday. Nevada came up short in yardage 540-357 but won the turnover battle 3-1 and returned a fumble for a score.

Ty Gangi paced the Wolf Pack through the air with 195 yards on 17-35 with a pair of touchdowns and an interception. McLane Mannix paced the Nevada receiving corps with five receptions for 85 yards including a 24 yard TD while Toa Tua totaled 81 yards on 12 carries with a score and Gangi logged 61 yards on eight carries.

The Toledo Rockets struggled to get stops in falling to Miami 49-24 as tem point home dogs in week three. Toledo was outgained 473-334 and couldn’t get their rushing attack going with less then 25 minutes of possession to lean on.

Rockets quarterback Mitchell Gaudagni connected on 13-21 for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns and an interception. Gaudagni also led Toledo on the ground with 47 yards on 15 carries while Diontae Johnson had six receptions for 119 yards and two scores.

Nevada  are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games in September and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. Toledo  are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing more than 40 points in their previous game and over is 4-0 in Toledo last 4 games in September and under is 7-1 in Toledo last 8 games following a straight up loss.

I don’t think the Wolf Pack played well against Oregon State and Toledo was overmatched against Miami. I’ll think both teams wll be able to move the football so the over is where I'm looking...

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
