The surging Navy Midshipmen travel to Oklahoma to challenge the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
The Navy Midshipmen have been on a roll the entire season with an 8-1 record with the lone loss coming at Notre Dame. The Midshipmen earned their 4th straight win in a 55-14 victory against visiting Southern Methodist in week eleven. The Middies won the yardage battle 484-268 while forcing a pair of turnovers and owning the ball for 35+ minutes. This was all about Keenan Reynolds who broke the career rushing record of 78. Reynolds gave Navy 81 passing yards and a TD on 2-9 with Jamir Tillman hauling in a 72 yard scoring strike. Reynolds led the Midshipmen on the ground with 137 yards and four touchdowns while Chris Swain added another 73 yards.
At 5-5 the Tulsa Golden Hurricane have their fate in their own hands but things could have been a whole lot easier if not for a 40-38 defeat at Cincinnati. The Bearcats totaled 652 yards which eased the pain of three turnovers while Tulsa managed 588 yards with the ability to both run and throw. Quarterback Dane Evans gave the Golden Hurricane a huge effort in the air with 375 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 30-49 with top target Keyarris Garrett hauling in nine balls for 168 yards with a score. Tulsa was also productive on the ground behind 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns from Ramadi Warren while D’Angelo Brewer added 76 yards and a TD on 17 totes.
The over is 6-0 in Midshipmen last 6 games in November and Midshipmen are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game while going 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win. The over is 4-0 in Golden Hurricane last 4 games in November and is 8-1 in Golden Hurricane last 9 games following a ATS win while going 6-1 in Golden Hurricane last 7 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game. I’m just going to keep riding the Navy wave as Tulsa should have trouble with the option…
