Jamie Harms-USA TODAY Sports

The Tulane Green Wave and Tulsa Golden Hurricane meet Saturday in college football action at Chapman Stadium.

The Tulane Green Wave look for their first road victory of the season after losing four of their last five games. The Tulane Green Wave have lost each of their last four road games. Jonathan Banks is completing 51.8 percent of his passes for 1,074 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. Banks and Justin McMillan have combined for eight touchdown passes and two interceptions this season. Darnell Mooney and Terren Encalade have combined for 975 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Stephon Huderson has four receptions. The Tulane Green Wave ground game is averaging 188.2 yards per contest, and Darius Bradwell leads the way with 541 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Tulane is allowing 29.7 points and 430.9 yards per game. Zachery Harris leads the Tulane Green Wave with 49 tackles, Patrick Johnson has four sacks and Donnie Lewis Jr. has three interceptions.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane could also use a feel good victory here that would snap a six-game losing streak. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have lost four of their last five home games. Luke Skipper is completing 58.6 percent of his passes for 716 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions. Skipper and Seth Boomer have combined for six touchdown passes and eight interceptions this season. Keylon Stokes and Keenen Johnson have combined for 569 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Justin Hobbs has 21 receptions. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane ground game is averaging 198.1 yards per contest, and Shamari Brooks leads the way with 566 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Tulsa is allowing 29.1 points and 388.3 yards per game. Cooper Edmiston leads the Tulsa Golden Hurricane with 63 tackles, Zaven Collins has 1.5 sacks and McKinley Whitfield has one interception.

The Green Wave are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October, 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Golden Hurricane are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games in October, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games on fieldturf and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Green Wave are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 meetings in Tulsa, 2-11 ATS in their last 13 meetings and the home team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings. The under is 13-3 in Golden Hurricane last 16 games overall and the under is 4-1 in Green Wave last 5 games overall.

The Tulane Green Wave continue to find ways to lose, but six of their last 12 games have been decided by seven or less points. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane haven't been much better as of late, but their schedule hasn't been the easiest in the world, all but one of their six losses have come to a team with a winning record. Tulsa finally gets a team more on its level, and the Golden Hurricane have won eight of the last 10 meetings against Tulane. The Tulane Green Wave have covered seven of their last 12 games when an underdog of at least three points. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have split their last eight games ATS when a favorite of at least three points. Because of the history between these clubs and the fact Tulsa is at home, I'm going to lay the field goal.
