Central Florida Knights -16.0 . Total 69.5

TV: ESPN2

The UCF Knights hit the road for a AAC conference game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.  Both teams to this point have been going in opposite directions, with opposite records.  UCF enters this game with a (7-2) record, having won 3 in a row.  The Knights are coming off a 44-29 victory over Houston.  Tulsa has lost 5 in a row to drop their record to (2-7) on the season.  The Golden Hurricanes last lost on the road to Tulane, 38-26.

UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel was 21 of 30 for 298 yds and 3 TD's in the win over Houston.  Tre Nixon led the way with 6 receptions, 123 yds, and 2 TD's.  Running back Bentavious Thompson added 65 yds rushing on 7 carries and 2 scores.  UCF trailed 17-14 after the first quarter and then turned it on and never looked back.  The Knights out gained Houston 468 to 419.  The Knights gave up 240 yds rushing.

Tulsa led 13-10 halfway through the 2nd quarter and then it was all Tulane from there.  Tulsa received a decent performance from their quarterback Zach Smith.  Smith was 17 of 33 fro 270 yds and touchdown.  Kicker Jacob Rainey was busy on the day, making all 4 of his field goal attempts, while connecting on a long of 40 yds.   Rainey was responsible for 14 points out of the 26.   Tulsa was out gained 474 to 398 on the day.  The Golden Hurricanes lost one fumble in the loss.

Recent Betting Trends:

UCF is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games.

UCF is 1-4 ATS vs a team with a losing record this season.

The over is 6-1 in the Knights last 7 games overall.

Tulsa is 16-7 ATS vs a team with a winning record in their last 24 games.

The under is 4-0 in Tulsa's last 4 Friday games.

The over is 4-1 in Tulsa's last 5 games overall.

In this series, the favorite is 7-3 against the spread in the last 10 games.  The under has been profitable at 6-2-1 in the last 9 meetings.  When you look at Tulsa, sure the record is not great, but when you look at the games they have played in recent weeks, most of them have been respectable.  During their 5 game losing streak, 4 of the 5 losses have been by 12 points or less.  UCF has not been good against the spread, when playing teams with losing records this season.  I am going to side with Tulsa in this one and give the Golden Hurricanes the benefit here, since Tulsa has been competitive in recent weeks.  Final score prediction, UCF wins but Tulsa covers, 42-28.
