The North Carolina State Wolfpack and UCF Knights square off Friday night in the St. Petersburg Bowl at Tropicana Field.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack have won three of their last four games and play in their fourth bowl in the last five years. Jacoby Brissett is completing 59.9 percent of his passes for 22 touchdowns and five interceptions. Brissett has five total touchdowns and zero picks in his last two games, and North Carolina State has 19 passing plays of 25 or more yards. Bo Hines and David Grinnage have combined for more than 800 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Bra'Lon Cherry has eight of his 25 receptions in his last four games. North Carolina State’s ground is averaging 5.4 yards per carry, as Shadrach Thornton leads the way with 811 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, the North Carolina State Wolfpack are allowing 27 points, 373.1 yards, 28 sacks and 19 turnovers. Jerod Fernandez has 76 tackles and Mike Rose has 13 tackles for loss.

Breshad Perriman and Josh Reese have combined for more than 1,300 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns while Rannell Hall has 11 of his 42 receptions in his last two games. UCF is averaging 3.2 yards per carry, as William Stanback leads the way with 659 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Defensively, the UCF Knights are allowing 17.9 points, 282.8 yards, and they’ve forced 33 sacks and 27 turnovers. Terrance Plummer has 90 tackles and Thomas Niles has 11 tackles for loss.

The Wolfpack are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 bowl games. The Knights are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. 

Central Florida's defense is the real deal and will given North Carolina State's offense fits throughout the game. This is also pretty much a home game for the Knights with it being just a short car ride for UCF fans. Expect UCF to show up and win this big, covering the tiny number.
