CFB | Austin Peay Governors (0-1) at Vanderbilt Commodores (0-2)

The Austin Peay Governors and Vanderbilt Commodores meet Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.

The Austin Peay Governors look for an upset win after a quick 0-2 start to the season. Trey Taylor is completing 62 percent of his passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Taylor has four touchdowns and four picks in his Austin Peay career. Jared Beard and Wesley Thomas have combined for more than 140 receiving yards and one touchdown while Rashaan Coleman has three receptions. The Austin Peay Governors ground game is averaging 76 yards per contest, and Kendall Morris leads the way with 57 yards on 19 carries. Defensively, Austin Peay is allowing 40 points and 475.5 yards per game. Roderick Owens leads the Governors with 11 tackles, Antonio Turner has 1.5 tackles for loss and Malik Boynton has a pass deflection.

The Vanderbilt Commodores are also looking for their first win with losses to WKU and Georgia. Johnny McCrary is completing 50 percent of his passes for 512 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions. McCrary has thrown a pick in five straight games. Trent Sherfield and Ralph Webb have combined for more than 190 receiving yards and one touchdown while sophomore DeAndre Woods has five receptions. The Vanderbilt Commodores ground game is averaging 136.5 yards per contest, and Ralph Webb leads the way with 138 yards on 43 carries. Defensively, Vanderbilt is allowing 22.5 points and 334 yards per game. Stephen Weatherly leads the Commodores with 11 tackles, Jonathan Wynn has a sack and Oren Burks has four pass deflections. Harding Harper is questionable with a knee injury.

I'm not taking Vandy and this much chalk against anybody, as the Commodores have a turnover machine at quarterback and an offense that simply isn't that talented. However, Austin Peay plays little to no defense.

I like the over in this spot.
