CFB | Maryland Terrapins (5-2) at Wisconsin Badgers (4-2)

The Maryland Terrapins and Wisconsin Badgers will square off Saturday afternoon at Camp Randall Stadium.

The Maryland Terrapins look to remain unbeaten on the road and pick up their third Big Ten victory. C.J. Brown is completing 56.8 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and six interceptions, and he leads the Terrapin with 362 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Brown, who hasn’t thrown a touchdown in two straight games, is probable for this matchup despite getting injured last week against Iowa. Stefon Diggs is the Terrapins best receiver, as he’s caught a touchdown in three straight games and leads Maryland with 580 receiving yards. Maryland’s ground game is averaging 4.1 yards per carry and although Wes Brown has been disappointing this season, he has scored three touchdowns in his last two games. Maryland has scored no less than 24 points this season. Defensively, the Maryland Terrapins are allowing 26 points, 448.6 yards, and they’ve forced 14 turnovers and 18 sacks. Cole Farrand leads Maryland with 63 tackles and Yannick Ngakoue has 9.5 tackles for loss.

The Wisconsin Badgers look to remain unbeaten at home and pick up their second conference victory. Wisconsin’s offense lives and dies with running back Melvin Gordon, who has 1,046 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Gordon has rushed for five touchdowns in his last two games and Wisconsin has won five of seven games when he tops 150 rushing yards. Wisconsin has 28 running plays of 20 or more yards and has rushed for more than 200 yards in 17 of its last 21 games. Wisconsin’s passing game made up of Joel Stave and Tanner McEvoy is completing 54.4 percent for seven touchdowns and eight interceptions. Alex Erickson has 27 receptions for 319 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, the Wisconsin Badgers are allowing 17.7 points, 286 yards, and they’ve forced eight turnovers and 19 sacks. Michael Caputo leads Wisconsin with 45 tackles and Derek Landisch has four sacks.

The Terrapins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win. The Badgers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a bye week and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.

Not only are the Wisconsin Badgers the better team on both sides of the ball, but they've had an extra week off, while Maryland is coming off a physical game against Iowa. Wisconsin should win this game by double digits.
