The Line: Wyoming Cowboys +12 -- Over/Under: 54.5
The Boise State Broncos visit War Memorial Stadium to take the field with the Wyoming Cowboys.
The Boise State Broncos have been winning games but they haven't looked impressive. The Broncos have won six in a row following a 38-29 victory over visiting San Diego State in which they needed a 21-6 4th quarter to win. Boise won the yardage battle 399-357 with both teams having some balance. Jay Ajayi paced the Broncos rushing attack with 134 yards on 31 carries with three trips to the endzone. Grant Hedrick added 41 yards with his legs while he completed 19-28 for 187 yards with a 14 yard touchdown toss to Thomas Sperbeck and a pair of interceptions.
The Wyoming Cowboys have been competitive at times but a quick look at their record says that competitive doesn't translate in to winning. The Cowboys come in off of a 20-3 loss to visiting Utah State where the Aggies scored 17 first quarter points. Both teams totaled around 360 yards with the Aggies keeping things simple given their depleted quarterback situation. The Cowboys moved the ball well at times with Brian Hill rushing 25 times for 122 yards while quarterback Colby Kirkegaard made sone plays and cost his team points. Kirkegaard connected on 20-40 for 212 yards but his two interceptions came in the red zone.
The Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in November and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a losing home record while the over is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. For Wyoming the over is 4-0 in Cowboys last 4 games following a S.U. loss while the Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. Head to head the road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. To get right to the point I'm backing the Broncos but to be honest I won't touch either team...
