The Utah State Aggies do battle with the Wyoming Cowboys at War Memorial Stadium on Friday.
The Utah State Aggies look to keep racking up the wins when they visit Mountain West foe Wyoming Friday. The Aggies have won back to back wins and four of five after a 35-14 rout of Hawaii on the road in week ten action. This looked like a shootout with the score at 14-14 after 15 minutes but the Aggies kept scoring and turned up the defensive intensity. Both teams finished in the 460 yard range. The Warriors rode their passing while USU were able to run and throw. Kent Myers was deadly efficient in the air with a 14-15 effort with 186 yards and three touchdowns including a 39 yarder and 70 yarder. Lajuan Hunt paced the Aggies on the ground with 150 yards on 33 totes with a score while catching a 44 yard touchdown from Ronald Butler.
The Woming Cowboys are looking for a strong finish to the season beginning with conference foe Utah State Friday. The Cowboys put an end to a four game slide in impressive fashion in a 45-17 victory at Fresno State as a 15 point road underdog. The Cowboys were dominant on both sides of the ball with a 674-316 advantage in total yardage. Wyoming did exactly what they wanted when they wanted with quarterback Colby Kirkegaard throwing for 320 yards with touchdowns of 16 yards and 66 yards to Jake Maulhardt and Jacob Hollister. Brian Hill led the receiving unit with three catches for 106 yards while also leading the ground game with 281 yards on 23 totes with 32 yard and 66 yard scoring runs while Joshua Tapscott totaling 72 yards on ten touches with two yard and 48 yard TD runs.
The under is 6-1 in Aggies last 7 Friday games with the Aggies going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Friday games while the under is 5-1 in Aggies last 6 games following a ATS win. For Wyoming the over is 4-0 in Cowboys last 4 conference games with the over is 4-0 in Cowboys last 4 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game and is 5-0 in Cowboys last 5 games overall. Head to head the over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings while the favorite is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. I like what I saw from Wyoming versus Fresno State but Utah State is a different animal and I'll lay the points...
