India and the West Indies will play the final T20 International of the series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The series is tied at 1-1 so the winner of this match will be awarded the trophy.
The West Indies were outstanding in the previous match as the team won the match by 8 wickets. The bowling was much improved by the West Indies as they bowled with discipline and constantly took big wickets. Hayden Walsh Jr and Kesrick Williams were the star bowlers as both bowlers took 2 wickets each. The batting was supreme from the West Indies as they constantly hit big overs and were always ahead of the match. Lendl Simmons played extremely well as he scored an unbeaten 67 of 45 balls. There seems to be renewed confidence in the West Indies camp and the team will be hoping to win this series.
On the other side of the coin, India will feel disappointed by the result from the previous fixture. The batting and bowling was solid from India but the team was let down by some poor fielding. India consistently dropped catches and that resulted in the team to fall behind. India are expected to bring back the likes of Mohammad Shami and Kuldeep Yadav for this match which should significantly strengthen the team.
The Wankhede Stadium has hosted numerous T20 matches which have usually been high scoring. Most of the players on both sides would have played at this stadium so both teams should be familiar with the conditions for this match.
This should be an extremely close match since India and the West Indies are both in good form and have strong sides. That being said, I am going to pick India to win this match. India have the advantage of playing at home and I see the team being boosted by the massive Mumbai crowd. Furthermore, India are expected to strengthen their side for this match. With all that in mind, I see India being too good for the West Indies in this match.
