New Zealand vs India - 2/10/19 T20 International Cricket - 3rd T20I Pick, Preview, Odds, and Prediction

Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

India will finish their tour of New Zealand at Seddon Park in Hamilton where the two teams will play the final T20 International. The series is currently tied at 1-1 meaning both New Zealand and India will have the chance to win the title.

India were dominant in their previous game as they came back strongly to win with ease. The bowling was well led by Krunal Pandya who took 3 wickets including the wickets of Colin Munro and Kane Williamson. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Khaleel Ahmed were also both very good as the pair of pace bowlers were very economical in the death overs. As far as the Indian batting was concerned, Rohit Sharma led his team well as he played a captain's knock of 50 runs. Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant supported Sharma well by getting 30 and 40 respectively. It was a comprehensive win for India and the team will be confident as they head into the final match of the series.

On the other side of the coin, New Zealand were back to losing ways as they lost their 5th match of the tour. The batting was very disappointing, especially from Kane Williamson who has been in very bad form in recent weeks. As far as the New Zealand bowling was concerned, it was a decent performance although the team didn’t score enough runs to allow the bowlers to influence the game.

The pitch at Seddon Park should ensure plenty of runs so both India and New Zealand will be looking to score close to 200 runs in their innings.

All in all, I am going to predict India to win this match. It has been a very strong tour for the Indian team and their record in New Zealand has been 5-2. India have not lost a series since their tour of England and the team is looking very confident. With that in mind, I see India winning this match and the T20I series.
