South Africa vs Pakistan - 2/6/19 T20 International Cricket - 3rd T20 Pick, Preview, Odds, and Prediction

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Pakistan will end their tour of South Africa at Supersport Park in Centurion where the teams will play a final T20 International to end the series. South Africa lead to the series 2-0

It was a very disappointing loss for Pakistan as they batted exceptionally well and looked poised to win until the final few overs where the batters choked under pressure. That being said, Babar Azam was exceptional as the opener scored 90 runs to ensure Pakistan had a great chance of winning the match. As far as the bowling was concerned, it was a very poor day for the fast bowlers and Hasan Ali and Usman Khan Shinwari as the pair conceded over 100 runs in their 8 overs. Shinwari was especially poor as his economy rate was close to 16. It has been a long tour for Pakistan and they have now lost a 3 series they have played. It is hard to see how the team will stay motivated for the final game of a very disappointing tour.

On the other side of the coin, South Africa look to be flying high. The Proteas batted very well with David Miller scoring an exceptional 65 on only 29 balls. As far the bowling was concerned, it was a poor display by the bowling unit although the team managed to do enough to win the game. South Africa look high on confidence after recent results meaning they will be very hard to beat.
Supersport Park is known for producing high scoring games so we can expect plenty of boundaries to be hit in this fixture.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to pick South Africa to win this game. Pakistan have had a long tour and seem to be very low on confidence as shown by their loss in the previous game. South Africa are playing good cricket and I see them winning this match.
