England will finish their tour of the West Indies at Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. These two teams will play a final T20I match. England have already won the series 2-0 so this match will be more about ICC rankings and pride.
It was a shocking batting display by the West Indies in the previous match as the team was bowled out for only 45 runs. The team only batted a total of 11.5 overs which was very disgraceful. Matters were worse considering the highest individual was 10. The loss would have hurt the West Indies who are current T20 World Cup holders. The bowling was not much better as they allowed England to score 182.
Looking at England, it was a very special performance by the entire team. Sam Billings was the star performer with the bat as the Kent batsman scored 87 runs off only 47 balls. Joe Root also impressed by scored a half-century. As far as the bowling was concerned, it was an outstanding performance by the entire unit. Chris Jordan was very impressive as he took 4 wickets while conceding only 6 runs. David Willy, Adil Rashid and Liam Plunkett all contributed with wickets as the trio took the other 6 wickets. England look full of confidence as they head into this match.
The pitch at Warner Park should be good for batting and both England and West Indies will hope to score big runs.
As far as this match is concerned, I am going to pick England to win and take the T20I series 3-0. West Indies look shattered after their humiliating defeat in the second T20I and I don’t see how they can bounce back in such a short time frame. England looked very good on Friday and I see them continuing in their winning ways in this match.
