Griffin -1429/ Afreeca Freecs +686
Griffin faces off against Afreeca Freecs in this 8th series game for both of these teams in the LCK Spring Split.
Griffin sits at the top of the standings with a 7-0 series record and a 14-1 game record. Having only dropped one game in the 2019 LCK Spring Split is unheard of and Griffin is showing that they are one of the best teams in the world. Griffin is bolstered by their high-powered roster of Tarzan and Chovy who have been the leaders of Griffin in this spring split. Griffin is coming off a series win a against KT Rolster where they won 2-0. KT Rolster never had a chance against Griffin as they lost the first game in thirty-six minutes and only gaining six kills and two turrets against Griffin’s sixteen kills and ten turrets. In that first game Griffin won with a 13k gold lead and never looked back in game two. In game two Griffin racked up 23 kills and ended the game in a very low twenty-seven minutes. Griffin has not lost a series yet and it will take a great day for Afreeca Freecs to bring the first-place team back down to earth.
Afreeca Freecs sits toward the bottom of the leaderboard in 8th place with a series record of 2-5. In total games Afreeca Freecs has a 4-11 record and has not lived up to their name as they went to World’s in 2018 and were hoping to make it back. Afreeca Freecs two wins are against Gen.G and Jin Air Green Wings who are both at the bottom of the leaderboard. Afreeca Freecs is coming off a series loss against DAMWON Gaming where they dropped both games. Afreeca Freecs did not stand a chance against DAMWON Gaming and have not been able to get any momentum going. Afreeca Freecs is the heavy underdog in this matchup and I do not see them being able to compete against this first-place team of Griffin.
The over/under kills in map 1 is sitting at 20.5 and the record for both of these teams in map 1 kills is 7-6 slightly favoring the over. The 20.5 total kills in map 1 is very low and I can see this one going over. I also like Griffin to win map 1 with ease and in regards to kills they will always be in the lead and our bets reflect that.
