Fnatic faces off against Vitality in this week 2019 LEC Spring split first match of the day.
Fnatic was coming to the spring split as Worlds 2018 finalist. They were huge favorites to win the entire split even though they parted with their star midlaner Caps. His spot was taken by Nemesis 19 year old talent from Slovenia. His performance in first two matches was great and definitely wasn't the reason they are coming off the first week being 0-2. Broxah didn't come up to my expactations and lost jungle matchup in both games which was the main reason they didn't perform as good as expected. Both SK Gaming and Origen were able to beat them in cca 30 minutes.
Vitality faced Schalke 04 on the first day of the Spring split. Schalke's great map control and well executed teamfitghts were enough to beat Vitality led by Italian Stalion Jiizuke. SO4 Ignar shined on Thresh and was able to dominate botlane in early game. Vitality had similar issues in the second game of the week 1 where they faced Splyce. Splyce got early lead and were able to punish Vitality all over the map. However few mis-plays from Splycce led to disappointing loss and Vitality ended the week being 1-1. Vitality's ban/pick phase could be a huge factor in upcoming match vs Fnatic.
It seems like team Vitality has some issues in early game. I expect Broxah to come back to week 2 stronger than ever and perform to his level. If he gets his hands on early game pick like Lee sin or Nocturne, Vitality will have a hard time getting into the game early on.
Over/under total kills is set to 22.5. Under is 1-1 in Fnatic's first two matches and 2-0 in Vitality's. Fnatic managed to exceed this number in the first match by just one kill. I can see Fnatic dominate from the early game and close this match in 30 minutes. Both teams prefer controlled style of game without pointless skirmishes. I would lean to the under 22.5 -120 in this game.
Fnatic is yet to win after disappointing week 1. Considering Fnatic's strong early game I can see them winning this in comfortable way, If they manage to avoid mistakes in mid-game, Vitality won't have chances to take this game home.
