DFS - Fantasy Basketball - DraftKings Afternoon Only - 4/4/19

Hi Everyone!

Decided to do a DK lineup also this afternoon.

Keeping this short and sweet.

On the mound, we're going with some mid-tier options in Jakob Junis & Eduardo Rodriguez.

Junis can give up some HR's, however, he has an outstanding slider that can get him some K's and you have to like the match-up against the Tigers. The weather looks like it's going to be pretty cold so I think that will help Junis who outside a rough 6th inning agianst the White Sox in his first start of the season, looked pretty solid.

Rodriguez looked shaky in his first start of the season, however, I think a large part of that was due to having Blake Swihart behind the plate. Rodriguez has the tools to be a very solid pitcher and with what I imagine will be Vazquez behind the plate today, I think he can keep the Oakland hitters off balanced this afternoon.

We have a 3-man stack of New York Yankees in DJ LeMahieu, Gleyber Torres, and Aaron Judge in their good match-up against Alex Cobb of the Baltimore Orioles. Cobb is coming off one of his worst years in the Majors last season as he posted a 4.90 ERA while giving up 24 HR's in 28 starts. The weather will be perfect for some offense today at Camden Yards and I expect the Yankees bats to wake up a bit this afternoon.

Boston has a nice match-up agianst the LHP Brett Anderson of the Oakland A's and we're going to go with a value pick in Vazquez while pairing him with the big bat of JD Martinez.

Shortstop is a week position this afternoon, but I don't mind taking a change with Amed Rosario agianst Stephen Strasburg. Rosario might only be hitting .250 so far this season, however, he has collected at least 1 hit in every game this season and the former top-prospect of the Mets is starting to look more comfortable at the plate. Rosario is 2 for 5 agianst Strasburg in his career and certianly has some speed to get us a SB if he can get on the base.

We're hoping to get some run support for Junis and I think both Ryan O'Hearn & Alex Gordon are coming in at solid value in their match-up agianst Spencer Turnbull.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

Good Luck!
