We couldn't cash in our "Early Only" lineup yesterday, however, we bounced back last night as our solid 145.45-point performance in the “Main” contestshad us cashing in both our GPP’s & 50/50’s!
We have an 8-game slate tonight that starts at 7:05 PM and let’s take a look at our initial DraftKings lineup!
I’m going to currently stay away from the MIN/PHI game as it’s looking like that one is headed to a rainout. As of right now, this is the only game that should be affected by the weather.
On the mound, we’re going to go with Cleveland’s Shane Bieber & Pittsburgh’s Joe Musgrove.
Bieber is coming off a solid first season with the Indians and has a great match-up against a Toronto Blue Jays team that has really struggled offensively this season. Bieber has great control of his pitches and can pile up some K’s as he posted a 9.26 K/9 ratio last year with the help of a solid slider. Toronto has been really bad against RHP’s and this is a match-up I’m willing to exploit tonight.
Musgrove is also coming off a decent season as he posted a 4.06 ERA last year and similar to Bieber, you have to like his match-up against a Cincinnati Reds team that has really struggled to find their offense so far this season. Musgrove gave in for 2 innings of relief against the Reds earlier this season, giving up no hits while striking out 1 and I think he can put together a solid performance tonight at PNC Park.
On the offensive side, I’m liking a stack of Atlanta Braves at home against Pablo Lopez. We’re currently stacking Freddie Freeman, Dansby Swanson, Ronald Acuna Jr., and Nick Markakis.
We were all over Kole Calhoun last night and I’m ok rolling with him against as he should be hitting leadoff against the RHP Lance Lynn of the Rangers. Lynn is a fastball pitcher which I think Calhoun will be able to handle.
I think Arizona has some nice value tonight and I’m going with Eduardo Escobar in their match-up against Rich Porcello. Porcello is a solid pitcher, but he can give up HR’s.
We’re hoping that Musgrove gets some run support tonight and I think we have solid value in both Francisco Cervelli & Adam Frazier in their match-up against Sonny Gray.
As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).
