DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Afternoon Slate (12:35 PM) - 4/3/19
Update (12:10 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made some adjustments. Decided to through a KC stack in the lineup as O'Hearn & Mondesi have had some nice success agianst Gibson in the past. I think the KC's players will be not as highly owned. I think it pairs well with our other stacks of MIL & MIN. Image is updated. Good Luck!
I will be playing the “main” slate tonight but decided to put out an “afternoon only” for MLB FanDuel today.
We once again have some solid pitching options to go with, however, I think Morton is the best value for the price at home against Colorado. Morton has some electric stuff and certainly can pile up the K’s as he posted a solid 10.83 K/9 ratio last season. Colorado has generally struggled against RHP’s and we saw that the Rockies can have trouble making contact after striking out 14 times last night against Blake Snell & company.
On the offensive end, I’m keeping it pretty simple with Milwaukee & Minnesota stacks.
Milwaukee will be up against Luis Castillo, who although has some decent stuff and can be effective at time, still allowed the Brewers to hit .280 against him last season. Milwaukee has a dangerous lineup and I just can’t pass up on the opportunity to stack them when they are playing at Great American Ball Park with the wind blowing out a bit.
We’re going with Minnesota because they have the pleasure of going up against Homer Bailey who has posted a 6.00+ ERA in each of his last 3 seasons while posting a 1.95 HR/9 ratio last season.
In the utility spot, we’re gong to hopefully ride the hot bat of Odubel Herrera who has been a streaky hitter in his career and is coming of a solid 3-double performance against the Nationals last night. I think he has some decent value hitting out of the 6-hole for just $2,200.
As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).
