DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Early Only (1:05 PM) - 5/30/19

Hi Everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Let's get some action in this afternoon as we take a look at today's MLB FanDuel "Early Only" slate that features 3-games and starts at 1:05 pm.

On the mound this afternoon, we’re going with Miami’s Sandy Alcantara in hopes he can once again come through for our team as the last time we took him, he through a complete game gem against the Mets. There are really any quality options on the mound this afternoon, but I think Alcantara is the play as he draws a great match-up against the Giants who rank 28th in team batting average (.220 average) and 18th in team strikeout rate. Miami is one of the best pitcher ball parks and I think Alcantara can put up a 40 spot for us this afternoon.

I’m actually going to stay in Miami as although the bats have struggled for the Marlins, it’s hard to ignore their match-up against the Giants Tyler Beede who comes into this game with a 13.50 ERA & 3.30 WHIP in 6.2 IP this season. Beede is allowing opponents to post a .400 average/1.169 OPS against him this season and I think Miami will be able to do some damage this afternoon.

For the Marlins, we’re stacking Brian Anderson, Harold Ramirez, and Curtis Granderson.

We also have 3-man stack of Philadelphia Phillies today in their match-up against Dakota Hudson. Hudson has pitched better as of late, but still comes into this game with a 4.22 ERA & 1.63 WHIP while allowing opponents to post a .292 average/.817 OPS against him.

For the Phillies, we’re going with Rhys Hoskins, Cesar Hernandez, and Bryce Harper who are a combined 5 for 7 against Hudson with a HR & 4 RBI’s.

We paid up for Marcell Ozuna in his match-up against a Jerad Eickhoff who had allowed at least 4 ER’s and 2 HR’s in each of his last three starts. Ozuna has displayed some great power this season, hitting 15 HR’s, and has a career .313 average/1.000 OPS vs. Eickhoff in 16 AB’s.

I’m fading the ARI/COL game which is dangerous and makes this more of a GPP play, however, we did fit in Trevor Story at SS in his match-up against Taylor Clarke.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

Good Luck!
