DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Early Only (3:07 PM) - 8/10/19

Update (2:56 PM) - Decided I wanted to get Mike Trout in the lineup against Porcello and go with more of a LAA stack as I just can't see Porcello having solid back-to-back outings. Image Updated! Good Luck!

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a good start to their weekend!

Let’s take a look at today’s MLB FanDuel “Early Only” lineup that features 5 games and starts at 3:07pm.

This is more going to be an “image-only” article as I’ll give more for tonight’s “Main Slate”

On the mound, I’m going with the upside of Vince Velasquez who had pitched well as of late, giving up just 4 ER’s over his last three starts (17.2 IP). Velasquez has some solid strikeout upside as he is currently posting a 10.07 K/9 ratio and pitching in the pitchers-friendly Oracle Park doesn’t hurt.

On the offensive end, we’re pretty well spread out between the match-ups and will be led by a 3-man BOS stack vs. the LHP Andrew Heaney of the Angels that will be making first start of the IL due to a shoulder injury. For the Red Sox, we have Sam Travis, Michael Chavis, & J.D. Martinez.

We have some early action in the NYY/TOR game as we’re going with Didi Gregorius, who I think has a lot of value at just $3,300 hitting out of the 3-hole, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who obviously brings a bunch of HR-upside.

Rick Porcello finally had a good game in his last outing, but he has looked pretty bad this season, and I want to make sure I have at least at little exposure against him. I’m going with Shohei Ohtani has 13 of his 15 HR’s vs. RHP this season while posting a solid .883 OPS vs. RHP.

Bryce Harper is starting to heat up a bit as he is hitting .308 with 4 HR’s over the past week and I don’t mind paying up for him agianst Jeff Samardzija, even if he has struggled in his career agianst him.

Rounding out the team with by the value pick in Ryan O’Hearn of the Royals, who although has had a year to forget, showed solid power vs. RHP last season and is 4 for 7 vs. Spencer Turnbull in his career.

Good Luck!
