DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB FanDuel "Early Only" Lineup - 4/4/19

Hi Everyone!

It's been a busy morning, but here is my initial lineup for the FanDuel MLB Afternoon Slate that starts at 4:05 PM!

Don't forget to check out our MLB DraftKings "Early Only" Lineup!!!

We're hoping to follow-up our strong 196.5-point performance from yesterday's "Early Only" slate that had us easily cashing in both our GPP's and 50/50's and at one point gave up a chance to take down a GPP.

It's a 3-game slate and my initial thoughts is that we need to spend up on the offensive end in the LAD/COL game as the game is playing at Coors Field and the wind is blowing out a bit. We are going to have to sacrifice at a few of other other positions, but I'm paying up to get some solid bats on both teams in Kike Hernandez, Justin Turner, A.J. Pollock, David Dahl, and Charlie Blackmon.

On the mound, to help afford those big bats, we're going to take a chance with Nick Margevicius who will be making his 2nd career start agianst the Cardinals. Margevicius looked good in his MLB debut against the Giants and although it's going to be a tough match-up agianst Jake Flaherty and the Cardinals, I'm hoping that the Cardinals inexperience against the soft-throwing lefty will give them trouble.

For the Padres, we're going with Francisco Mejia who showed the ability for a big game here and there after being acquired by the Padres late last season. Mejia has a tough match-up agianst Flaherty, however, Flaherty did struggle in his first start this season against the Brewers.

We have Willy Adames & Michael Perez who are more just "punt" plays to afford the big LAD/COL stack.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

Good Luck!
