Update (6:28 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made my adjustments! Image is updated! Good Luck.

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Let’s get the week started out as we take a look at tonight’s “initial” MLB FanDuel Lineup that features 10 games and starts at 7:05pm!

As of right now, the DET/BOS game looks like it has a good chance of being a rainout so I’m staying away from that game all together. We’ll also have to keep an eye out on the PHI/NYM game.

Pitching is the greatest tonight, however, I think we have some solid value in Tampa Bay’s Yonny Chirinos in his match-up against the Kansas City Royals. Chirinos has been solid in 3 of his 4 starts this season and comes into this matchup with a solid 3.26 ERA & 0.83 WHIP. Kansas City hasn’t been anything but average against RHP this season (.256 average) and has the Royals have been struggling with strikeouts as of late (13.0 K/game over their last 3 games), I think Chirinos will be able to hit value tonight with a 35-40 point performance.

On the offensive side of the ball, we’re going to start off with a 3-man stack of the Chicago White Sox in Jose Abreu, Yoan Moncada, and Eloy Jimenez. The White Sox have one of the better match-ups of the night against the RHP David Hess of the Baltimore Orioles who comes into this match-up with a 5.57 ERA while allowing opponents to post a .882 OPS against him. Hess has really struggled with HR’s this season as he has already allowed 7 HR’s on the young season and currently has a 3.00 HR/9 ratio.

Abreu has gotten off to a slow start this season, but went 3 for 9 with 2 doubles over the weekend and obviously as HR-upside at a very reasonable price.

Yoan Moncada is starting to show why he was the major piece that the White Sox acquired in the Chris Sale trade with the Red Sox as he is currently hitting .317 with 6 HR’s & 8 RBI’s. Moncada is a switch-hitter, however, has been much better as an LHB over his career and currently has posted a .322 average & 1.053 OPS as an LHB this season.

Jimenez has been a bit up and down but there is no denying his power and has huge upside as he showed earlier this month when he went 3 for 4 with 2 HR’s against the Yankees. Jimenez has been much better against RHP this season, posting a .291 average & .812 OPS.

We’re going to target the WAS/COL game and we’ll start off with some high-priced options in Charlie Blackmon & David Dahl in their match-up against Jeremy Hellickson of the Nationals. Hellickson has pitched well in his two starts this season, however, this is a very hittable pitcher who didn’t fare well in his only recent start against Colorado two years ago (5.0 IP, 7 ER, 8 H).

Blackmon had a monster weekend against the Phillies, going 7 for 9 with 2 triples & a HR and has been incredible at home this season, posting a .469 average & 1.425 OPS.

David Dahl has looked decent since returning from his injury and comes into this game with a .353 average on the season. Dahl has always played well at Coors and it’s been no different this season as he is posting a .400 average & 1.224 OPS in 25 AB’s at home this year.

We’re staying in the WAS/COL game and going to be targeting Brian Dozier in his matchup against the LHP Tyler Anderson of the Rockies. Anderson is coming off the DL tonight and didn’t look great in his first two starts of the season as he allowed 11 ER’s on 18 hits in just 9.0 IP.

Dozier is hitting just .177 on the season, however, he does have hits in 4 of this last 5 games and has HR’s in 2 of his last 3 games.

Rounding out the team for now will be a 2-man stack of New York Yankees in Gleyber Torres & Mike Tauchman against the RHP Matt Harvey of the Los Angeles Angels. It’s been a tough start to the season for Matt Harvey as he comes into this game with a 9.64 ERA & 1.82 WHIP while allowing opponents to hit .333 against him.

Torres might be hitting just .253, however, he does have 4 HR’s on the season and I think he has too much value with just a $3,300 price tag.

Tauchman has been seeing regular time with all the injuries to the Yankees and has really produced as of late as he is hitting .353 with 3 HR’s over the past week and has scored at least 18.4 FanDuel points in 4 of his last 5 games.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

Good Luck!
