Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday!

After a nice weekend break, let’s get back to our FREE MLB FanDuel DFS lineups as we take a look at tonight’s 9-game slate that starts at 7:05pm.

On the mound tonight, it’s going to be hard to pass up on the value/upside that Zack Wheeler brings to the mound tonight at home against the Cincinnati Reds. Wheeler had a career year last season and was lights out during the 2nd half of the season, posting a 1.68 ERA over his final 11 starts and although he had a slow start to this season, he looked incredible in his last start against the Phillies as he went 7.0 IP while giving up 0 ER’s on just 5 hits while striking out 11. Wheeler has a solid 10.01 K/9 ratio so far this season and faces a Cincinnati team that ranks dead last in team batting average (.209 average).

On the offensive side, I think the Milwaukee Brewers come in with some great value tonight against Kyle Freeland of the Rockies. Freeman is a solid pitcher who certainly has the ability to throw a good game, however, you can really find value with Milwaukee as Jesus Aguilar & Hernan Perez are both sitting at the minimum price of just $2,000. On top of that you got Ryan Braun at just $2,800. For our team tonight, we’re going with a 3-man stack of Brewers in Jesus Aguilar (2 for 5 with a HR vs. Freeman), Ryan Braun, and Lorenzo Cain (.899 OPS vs. LHP).

We are going with a 2-man stack of Washington Nationals in Brain Dozier & Juan Soto in their match-up against the RHP Michael Wacha of the St. Louis Cardinals. Wacha has been solid this season outside one rough outing at home against the Dodgers, however, does come into this game with a 2.11 HR/9 ratio and is allowing his opponents to post a .892 OPS against him on the season.

Dozier is hitting just .188 on the season, however, he does have 4 HR’s and has posted a .851 OPS over the past week. Dozier can do damage on fast balls that are middle-in from RHP’s and as Wacha is certainly a pitcher that can make a mistake with location with his fastballs, I think Dozier has a good shot of hitting one out tonight in Washington were the wind will be blowing out to LF.

Juan Soto is hitting just .255 on the season, however, he is currently riding a 6-game hitting streak and has 6 HR’s & 22 RBI’s on the season. Soto has a .291 average & .953 OPS at home this season and as he is hitting .308 with 3 HR’s over the past week, I like spending up for the talented young player tonight.

We’re also going with a 2-man stack of Los Angeles Dodgers in Corey Seager and Joc Pederson tonight in their good match-up against Jeff Samardzija of the San Francisco Giants. Samardzija has pitched well this season, however, he has struggled a bit over his last 2 games, allowing 6 combined runs and 3 HR’s. Samardzija has really been hurt by LHB’s this season, allowing them to post a .289 average & .871 OPS on the season.

Corey Seager is coming off a less than impressive series against Pittsburgh and hasn’t put up huge numbers this year (.255 average, 2 HR, 9 RBI’s), however, this is a very talented young hitter that has a career .299 average and we’re bound to seem him start doing some damage in that very talented Dodgers lineup. Seager has fared well against RHP this season, posting a .282 average & .833 OPS, and has been much better on the road this season, posting a .362 average/.923 OPS.

Joc Pederson is hitting just .241 on the season, however, he has had no trouble finding his power this season, as he already has launched 10 HR’s. Pederson has an incredible .733 slugging percentage & 1.131 OPS vs. RHP on the season and is 2 for 4 life time against Samardzija with a double & HR.

Rounding out the team tonight will be Manny Machado who although has a tough matchup against Mike Soroka, has just too much value at price tag of just $3,400. Machado is hitting just .242 on the season, however, does have 4 HR’s and has actually fared much better against RHP so far this season.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

Good Luck!
